Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary
Centenary Charity Golf
“In November 1921, Middlesbrough established its first Rotary Club and during the second half of this year, there will be a series of events to celebrate the Centenary of Rotary in the town. The final event will be a dinner on Sunday 14th November, 100 years to the day since the Middlesbrough Club was chartered.
One of the planned events is a golf competition, organised by the town’s three Clubs (Middlesbrough, Cleveland and Middlesbrough Erimus), to be played on Wednesday 8th September at Middlesbrough Golf Club.
Invitations to participate are being sent to existing and past members of the Middlesbrough Rotary Clubs, their supporters and friends, and Rotarians from other Clubs in District 1030 and further afield. Whilst there will be prizes for the best performers on the day, the prime objective of the event is to enjoy golf and banter through a 4BBB pairs competition and pre and post-round fellowship.
