July is a time of change for rotary clubs across the globe and Middlesbrough Erimus is no exception to that. As last year’s chapter closed another began with the induction of Terry Bolton as President on Tuesday 27 June.
In concluding the last chapter, outgoing President Geoff Taylor spoke of the club’s evolution with the introduction of an Inaugural Tees Heritage Walk, the completion of a second year planting ‘Tees Trees’ and the introduction of Middlesbrough College as Corporate members of Erimus Rotary.

Taking up his role President Terry expressed his wish to see the club progress its initial efforts to create a Breakfast meeting once a month in Central Middlesbrough whilst continuing the many avenues of Community service which the club actively support. New President Terry then went on to offer the Vice President’s chain of office to Jacqui Molyneux who advised members that this rotary year would see Erimus hosting their twin clubs from Germany, the Netherlands and Poland. All agreed that the Erimus meaning of ‘We Shall Be’ was alive and active as the chapters of Rotary progressed.
