COVID tablets for LIFE (Low Income Family Education)
Appeal to raise funds to buy tablets for low income families to aid home schooling.
The COVID pandemic has been playing havoc with everyone’s lives, not least children who are our future and have had their education constantly disrupted during this pandemic. This latest lock-down means even more home schooling.
Many of us take the internet and access to it for granted however not everyone is as privileged. The aim of this appeal is to give children from low income families in Redcar & Cleveland access to online learning activities during the COVID pandemic and beyond by providing them with a tablet for home use.
Our aim is to raise enough to fund 20 tablets for distribution in Redcar & Cleveland however we will purchase as many as we can with whatever funds we raise.
All donations will be paid into the Rotary Club of Redcar Trust Fund which is eligible for Gift Aid. So if you make a donation and pay UK tax please tick the Gift Aid box as this generates an additional 25% of the value of your donation.
