The President of Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Dave Whittaker and the President of Middleboro Rotary in Massachusetts USA and team members met to explore opportunities for working together.
Ideas were exchanged including , from the USA , auction of goods and services , tutoring junior school children in maths and English and developing a networking group between Rotary clubs. Dave Whittaker for Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary highlighted fundraising for international projects for example a Zoom fundraising quiz, charity concerts and a static cycling event raising funds for Prostate cancer and South Tees heart fund. The two clubs agreed to have a Zoom for members of both clubs to hear about their respective areas and club activities with breakout sessions organised later to review opportunities to further develop cooperation.
